My Wife and I Are Getting Divorced
After a much thought, my wife and I have decided that our marriage just isn’t working. We still care about each other, but we haven’t been happy for a long time. I think we both were afraid to bring it up, but once we talked, we realized we were in agreement. Even though we are on the same page, we know divorce can be a messy process. We found an Essex County lawyer who specializes in Family Law. He has been very helpful and I think the process shouldn’t be too bad. We’re lucky that we figured things out before we had kids. So, there won’t be any custody issues. Our finances are pretty much the same as they were when we got married. We both also make about the same, so there shouldn’t be any issues there. This is still going to be a tough time. I don’t know if we can come out of this as friends, but I’m confident we can at least keep it friendly.
